Toubkal Views is based in Marrakech and runs both the city experiences and the day trips that leave it: guided walks through the medina and souks, food and culture evenings, the Agafay desert at sunset, the Atlas valleys, Ourika and the mountain villages around Imlil. Every tour includes hotel or riad pickup and is guided by a local Moroccan team.
Marrakech rewards a guide more than most cities. The medina is a working place rather than a museum, and the difference between wandering and being walked through it by someone who grew up here is the difference between getting lost and understanding what you are looking at.
Our city programme covers the souks and the craft quarters, the historical monuments in a half day, a full-day private city tour, and an evening built around food — street stalls, a tea house, and the squares as they fill up after dark.
Day trips from Marrakech
The best-known day trips leave the city in the morning and are back for dinner: the Agafay stone desert forty minutes away, the three Atlas valleys, Ourika and the Setti Fatma waterfalls, and Imlil at the foot of Mount Toubkal.
Which one suits you depends on what you want from the day. Agafay is the desert atmosphere without the drive. Ourika is water, gardens and a short walk. Imlil is real mountain scenery and the trailhead for the High Atlas.
Adventure near Marrakech
Beyond the standard day trips we run tandem paragliding over the Atlas foothills, a zipline day in the mountains, horse riding in both Agafay and the Atlas, quad biking and camel rides in Agafay, and hot-air balloon flights at dawn.
If you are deciding between them, the adventure guides below compare each activity honestly — what the day involves, who it suits and when to do it.
Longer trips that start in Marrakech
Marrakech is also the departure point for the Sahara. Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes are a three-day trip minimum; shorter versions reach Zagora. Multi-day circuits continue to Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades and Todra gorges, Fes or Essaouira.
For the mountains, our trekking division runs everything from a two-day Mount Toubkal summit to eight-day traverses, all starting with a transfer from your hotel in Marrakech.
Which Marrakech trip should you choose?
The honest short answer, option by option. Durations and prices are the verified figures from our own product pages; where a trip is quoted per group we say so rather than showing a placeholder.

The four most popular are the Agafay desert, the Atlas three valleys, the Ourika valley with the Setti Fatma waterfalls, and Imlil at the foot of Mount Toubkal. Agafay suits an afternoon and evening; the others are full days.
